3. Core Aeration: Aeration involves creating holes and pulling soil plugs to reduce compaction, improve airflow, and make it easier for roots to grow. This process also allows water and nutrients to penetrate the soil effectively.
4. Seeding: Depending on the lawn's needs, we use either broadcast spreading or a mechanical slit seeding machine. Slit seeding ensures excellent seed-to-soil contact for optimal germination.
5. Soil Amendments: Fertilizer, lime, and other amendments are added based on the soil test results to correct deficiencies and promote healthy growth.
6. Watering: Proper watering is crucial after installation. We provide detailed watering instructions to ensure successful germination and root establishment. While an automatic irrigation system is ideal, hoses and sprinklers can also get the job done with careful management.
7. Ongoing Maintenance: To protect your investment and maintain a healthy lawn, we recommend a turf treatment program with regular applications of fertilizer and weed control.
