Marlton Backyard Gets Pavers, Fence, and Full Landscape Makeover

Some projects just keep getting better. We had the pleasure of working with a returning client in Marlton, and this one was a two-phase effort that turned an ordinary backyard into a full outdoor living space. Phase one was all hardscape and structure - a large paver patio, connecting walkways, hardscape steps, and a white vinyl privacy fence with two gates. The front entrance got a new paver walkway and step as well. Solid foundation. Clean lines. But it needed something more.

That's where phase two came in. We came back to add the landscape layer that pulls everything together. Along the fence line, we installed new planting beds filled with shrubs, perennials, and trees. The front yard got additional trees to balance out the curb appeal. Fresh black mulch throughout gives the whole property that sharp, finished look.

Here's what we find with a lot of clients - the hardscape gets the space ready, but the plants are what make it feel like home. Those columnar trees planted along the white vinyl fence will fill in over time and give the backyard real privacy and depth. The hydrangeas and shrubs tucked in between add color without making it look too busy. It's a planting plan that works now and gets better every year.

The paver work itself deserves a closer look. The backyard patio is large enough to handle a full dining set on one side and a lounge area with a fire table on the other - two distinct zones on one seamless surface. The front walkway curves up to the entrance with a contrasting border detail that adds a custom touch. The hardscape steps off the back door tie the house elevation right into the patio level. Every piece was planned to connect, and it shows.

This is exactly the kind of project we love - one where a client trusts us with the whole picture. From the paver and block hardscaping to the fence installation to the landscape planting, it all came together as one cohesive property.
